Navigators are licensed professionals who assist consumers in applying for health coverage through the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace in determining eligibility to enroll in health insurance options. Includes contributions to outreach programs regarding educational services about health care options.

Participated in evaluation program planning meetings with youth mentoring programs, developed logic models, revised, edited, and drafted comprehensive evaluation plans for two youth programs, created evaluation activity calendars for youth programs. Worked on-site with youth mentoring program staff to understand their evaluation needs and objectives. Translated standardized surveys into Remark software to help programs increase their survey response rates and eliminate data entry from print surveys. Cleaned and summarized data for youth and mentor surveys – strength of relationship data. Analyzed evaluation practices from survey data, co-developed analysis questions, summarized survey findings, raised survey response rate by approximately 50% through individual emails and phone calls. Participated in non-profit Board meetings led by Washington’s Lt. Governor Brad Owen. Participated in evaluation strategy meetings attended by University of Washington faculty, statewide Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration Mentoring Director, Department of Social and Health Services staff, and Mentoring Works Washington research team.
