Canopy Keepers is a non partisan community group borne out of the shared heartbreak of seeing the canopy perforated on a daily basis in Sydney's northern beaches. A group of passionate people now work to educate our community to value and preserve the canopy and support the threatened wildlife, while lobbying council to affect changes to policies that are outdated and not keeping pace with modern development trends. www.canopykeepers.org.au

With a focus on Integral Coaching, Conscious Works is about building capability in individuals and teams. Short focused coaching phases to support people wherever they are at and where they want to go. Also employed by Ten Directions (Canada) as a coach in their Next Stage Advanced Facilitation Program from 2020.

Having worked designing and implementing leadership and team building skills in the outdoor adventure industry for many years; colleagues and I then transferred these skills to corporate team-building and leadership programs. Initially we approached this work using outdoor experiential learning methods before this lead more and more to longer indoor training and coaching programs. I worked with several companies: Global Learning, Catalyst Learning and IBT International and with many colleagues designing and delivering short and extended learning programs across all sectors- Government and non- Government, community and not for profits.

When a tree change takes you into the bush to run a funky little bush cafe you know you are in for a ride. Having never so much as worked in a cafe, now we owned one. But this was no ordinary cafe- replete with a modern art gallery, a performance space and a verandah to die for - Blue Poles named after the famous Jackson Pollock painting was an arts hub and a regional centre. In our time there we added a 4 star bed and breakfast, regenerated an old orchard, a river bank and nurtured a beautiful bio diversity. We also won several regional Tourism and Catering awards. This was one job that put an enthusiastic and rewarding test to my leadership and team building skills - with so many of our employees being young people on their first job.

Wildwise entered the Australian adventure travel scene as the first women's company in Australia. At our height we ran 46 different adventures over one calendar year and all without the help of the internet. From weekend Learn to Surf trips, to the living in the desert country heart of Australia with Pitjantjatjara women, scuba diving off coral cays on the Great Barrier Reef, heli- skiing in NZ, rock climbing in the Arapiles, or walking in Kakadu, the Kimberleys or Tasmania. We educated and supported women to embrace the wilds and themselves as adventurous beings. Loved this work.
