Assistant Board Secretary
CurrentCoordinate Board of Trustees activities to include preparation of agenda and materials, taking and maintaining minutes and other records, publishing website content related to the Board, and acting as archivist for records related to the Board. Coordinate all Board events, including travel arrangements, provisions, live streaming, and posting open meeting notices as required by law. Prepare confidential documents for the Board, President and University Counsel related to highly sensitive matters. Communicate directly with the Board on behalf of the President and University Counsel. Oversight of Policy Central, including providing assistance and training to other departments. Assist University Counsel and the Attorney General's Office with litigation notices, discovery responses, scheduling, etc. Formulate, affect, interpret, and implement policies and operating practices related to the protection of minors on campus. Exercise independent judgment, decision-making and action in providing sensitive, complex, and confidential assistance to the Board, President and University Counsel.
