This was a new contract role implemented to undertake significant change within the organisation relating to profitability, governance and systems and the commercialisation of resources to support research. The role was a key leadership position that oversaw a number of services including endocrinology, education, respiratory, pathology, private clinics, Imaging (including MRI), and a philanthropic clinic. The position also supported research studies within the domain. The position was responsible for facilities in a number of geographic locations.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Through successful budgeting and cost restraint I achieved the first profit ever for this area of the Institute.Innovatively developing a model of telehealth care for aboriginal remote communities to continue to provide a service despite funding cuts.Led and managed the stakeholder engagement process to secure an expansion into the primary care sector in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. Successfully establishing governance, compliance and feedback policies for the area.Successfully led and implemented a new EMR, including tendering of contracts, stakeholder management, implementation and training despite the process being unsuccessful on three previous attempts.

My role included all facets of management including financial performance, HR management, Compliance, Quality and risk mitigation, change management, business planning and innovation.KEY ACHIEVEMENTSSuccessfully led a quality a compliance programme which saw a continual positive trend in quality indicators and family satisfaction with the facility.Diligent management of the budget saw the site exceed budget predictions for the first time in several years due to successful influencing all key drivers.Reviewed care model and established a new model of care which was successfully implemented with positive feedback from families and staff.Responsible for the innovation of a new recruitment model to engage and employ aged care workers with superior training. Successfully managed workplace change in a strongly unionised workforce with no negative outcomes.

Olympic Park Sports Medicine encompassed 3 geographical centres including one in regional Victoria. I managed 6 direct reports and held a budget in excess of $20M. I reported directly to the Board and managed complex board reporting.I was responsible for all aspects of financial performance including forecasting, expenditure and accounts. I led and formulated strategy working directly with the Board. Other areas of responsibility included operational performance, stakeholder engagement, business development, HR management, contract management and change management. KEY ACHIEVEMENTSAchieved a 260% increase in share price and a 30% ROI for shareholders whilst in role by reviewing the strategic plan and implementing change management strategies.Successfully researched the demographic environment and opened a new clinic in regioan Victoria within budget and timeframe. The venture resulted in an additional 20% overall profit in Year 2. BEP was achieved in the first month of operation.Successfully developed and project managed a major move of the main premises into AAMI Park in conjunction with Major Projects Victoria within budget and extremely tight timelines.Successfully managed a software conversion and large IT rollout with budget and timeframes.
