One of four IT team members responsible for a successful implementation of an ERP System in an ISO 9000, ISO 14000, lean-driven, manufacturing-to-order company dealing in both commercial and military sectors. Reengineered both process and/or system to conform to the new ERP system Planned and performed legacy data conversion/re-organization into an Oracle database, wrote custom stored procedures (TOAD) and functions, custom queries/reports and taught end-users how to execute them.Created courses including materials, schedule, etc. and train users on new system.Acted as primary technical rep for: - Engineering (Parts, bills of material, sub-systems and components, prototypes, technical documentation, raw materials, costing, make-vs-buy decisions, change control and component manufacturing),- Document Mgmt (Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, and DoD compliance, Engineering specifications/drawings, Manufacturing Operating Procedures, Customer and Supplier documentation, document maintenance/security, approvals, electronic workflow, form design and approval/communication control, and finally publication.) Determined what information/data should be stored where, how and with what types of requirements/rules/access/approvals.- Mfg Engineering/Tools/Testing, Quality, Sales/Customer Orders/Quotes/Pricing and Shipping/DeliveryActed as secondary technical representative for Financial (multiple currencies, multiple sites), Inventory and Cost of Goods, Management reporting, metric distribution portals, security and navigation, Supply Chain & Procurement (first-time MRP)Post implementation:Primary technical writer for Sarbanes-Oxley IT and compliance/audit processes with IT manager.Primary lead to select/implement 3D graphical engineering software and its interface/integration with the IFS ERP, machine shop, quality control and testing software, etc. Included full requirements analysis, software selection, vendor interviews, ROI Analysis, etc.
