I retired as a full time teacher of 38 years. Looking for a new career to take me into full time retirement in a few years.

Worked as cashier assisting customers with checkout. I have experience operating the register, handling money, as well as assisting customers with the self checkout.

As a pharmacy technician I was trained to fill prescription, bag prescriptions, assist customers picking up prescriptions and operated the cash register at the pick up window. I also worked at the dropoff window where as a technician I would assist customers dropping off new prescriptions. Other responsibilities included inputting prescriptions, calling/faxing Dr. offices for refills, calling insurance companies to resolve insurance issues, etc. While working the evening shift I was responsible for ordering out of stock drugs from McKesson and the warehouse for the next day fill, file filled prescriptions, and assist other technicians with closing procedures.

Responsibilities as a floor associate included stocking shelves, zoning merchandise, assisting customers, and assisting other floor associates when needed. As a floor associate I was also trained as a cashier and would be called to assist with customer checkout at peak times in a day. I would also assist in bringing stock out of the stockroom and inventory shelves to get more merchandise out to the sales floor,
