Northern India

Enforced military law and discipline in an area spread over three states covering an area of 2,800 sq km and ensured adherence of the Indian Army's core values across complete hierarchy of all verticals. Ensured active vigilance and instituted refined audit process to resolve 53 out of 64 inquiries and discipline cases in a short span of 18 months. Refined policies and processes in 2018 by creating a simple software module and facilitated implementation of the best practices by 109 units located at 19 different locations in the region.Ensured sound administration of troops across all verticals in the headquarters to remain operationally effective for the units under its dominion.

Northern India

Led the audit, doctrine and policy team in 2016 from the idea to execution for a project involving establishing effective and efficient innovative process across all verticals involving the complete hierarchy.Spearheaded execution of a security project budgeted at INR 40 cr in a sensitive military station in 2017. De-novo threat analysis and gainful negotiations with global vendors prevented revenue loss to the tune of INR 16.3 cr and saved 15% of manpower from routine fatigue of guard duties.

Southern India

­Trained and enabled a contingent of 10 Officers and 30 Soldiers from a friendly foreign country at one of the premier institutions of the Indian Army. Setting of benchmark in training, sound administration and efficient budgeting of the project was recognised with the award of General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Commendation Card, making the institution a "Centre for Global Excellence" and achieve the ISO Certification.

North Western & North East

Administered troops, ensured an active & efficient supply chain and kept them motivated as a cohesive fighting team deployed over a large area of 5700 sq km for counter-terrorism operations under the most constraining conditions and hostilities from 2012-14.Controlled a tricky situation of humanitarian crisis and prevented loss of precious human lives, when at the same time 40,000 people were displaced from their homes and 77 lives were lost in neighbouring districts during 2012 communal violence in the North East. Excellent liaison and coordination of all efforts including that from state government and district administration were the key to contain the escalation of crisis. Successfully conducted recruitment of soldiers for 35,000 aspirants from all seven states of North East in 2013. Sound planning and seamless integration with state administration were key to flawless and incident free conduct of the recruitment in an environment of insurgency and terrorism. Earned the Chief of Army Staff Unit Commendation, the highest honour for an army unit in 2014 for successful execution of military operation and human resource management as head of the cross-functional team (size 600) in counter terrorism operations.As team leader of the cross functional team, motivated officers and troops, shaped their career growth and enabled them to achieve 3 individual gallantry awards and 11 commendations while being deployed in a highly operationally active and competitive environment.

North & North-East

Took complete responsibility for a construction project of 1.8 Km, WBM road at the high altitude (9400 ft) in 2007 within the schedule while overcoming various constraints by effective utilization of resources. Excellent civil liaisons and keeping the team motivated was the key to execute the complex task. Effectively countered an emergency created due to credible inputs of likely militant attack in one of the busiest Railway Station in the North. Accurate SWOT analysis, integration of all efforts including civil administration in a seamless manner against the constraints of time could prevent the crisis in 2008.

North & Central India

Led a 108-day long operation at an altitude of 19500 feet and temperature -470 C in 1998-99. Fought the adversaries, ensured high morale and sound administration of troops and security of a strategic post with zero mortality at Siachen Glacier, the highest battlefield in the world. Motivated troops, catered their logistics requirements, fought the enemy and led two successful attacks in the Batalik Sector during the early stages of KARGIL WAR. Display of raw courage and fortitude as a young leader during the war found a place of mention in 'Blood Guts & Fire Power', the famous book on Kargil War in 1999.
