Motorola Mobility

Led the project team (of 10 people) in implementing a space management planning system for the Global Corporate Real Estate group. Responsibilities include: system administrator, develop and implement Motorola Mobility’s real estate and occupancy standards, and create training and process documentation for over 20 end users.Served as liaison between the multiple suppliers involved with the space management system. Managed portfolio data for all of Motorola Mobility, involving approx.100 sites, 19,000 employees, and over eight million square feet of real estate. Leverage analytical tools, space management planning system, and other third party systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting. Responsible for development of all executive-level presentations, monthly and ad hoc reports for senior leadership, and any internal or external data requests related to Motorola Mobility’s real estate portfolio.Managed all real estate-related capital expenditures (over $27 million/year). Implemented new process to drive increased accuracy around forecasting and reporting of capital expenditures.

Internal corporate audit function utilized Enterprise Risk Management methodology, Organizational Change Management, and Digital Six Sigma. Assessed change management methodology for Motorola’s major implementations, Oracle R12, supply / demand planning, and contract management systems. Identified ineffective training programs, lack of sufficient organizational readiness, and/or key stakeholder buy-in through in-depth interviews and documentation review. Reviewed organization re-alignment of decentralized supply chain function. Facilitated working sessions / workshops with key stakeholders to gather and develop buy-in for new processes. Identified gaps through roles and responsibility mapping of current and to-be states. Developed internal audit methodology for all Motorola system development life cycle reviews and formally trained entire department (50+ people). Created risk assessment tools, work plans, templates, and database library to standardize all system implementation audits.
