About Deb Mclaughlin
I am an Accountant specialising in FP&A, Systems & Manufacturing with considerable experience developing & delivering complex financial solutions for major commercial businesses, currently as the Business Analyst @ Evac+Chair International. I have also business partnered many colleagues in many departments, especially Operations.I have been in my current role since October 2017. I am responsible for improving data integrity, leading the selection and development of a new integrated CRM/ERP system, developing stock and WIP procedures, maintaining, implementing and educating on MRP/ERP functionality, GDPR policies and compliance, IT infrastructure and security, creating a suite of month end reports, ad hoc reporting for all departments and creating and managing a set of master price lists. I initially joined Fujitsu Telecoms in 1992 as a Manufacturing Accountant, moving to a Deputy Management Accountant role and then a Systems & Manufacturing Accountant role. In 2014, I transferred to Fujitsu Services, a £2bn T/O global IT solutions provider, in a Management Accountant role. I have a proven track record designing financial reports & models that provide clarity on key financial information, including designing a full account reporting suite for Fujitsu Telecom to improve the accuracy & timeliness of accounts information for key stakeholders. I also develop detailed infrastructure for financial systems & migrate financial data to enable efficient collection of financial information while creating robust finance system processes that account for key business activities & enable detailed financial analysis. Additionally, across roles I provide on-going user support to ensure system stability & fluid business continuity.
