I have been earnestly working in a variety of Management and project Management roles for over 20 years and possess highly developed communicational, organisational and leadership skills. Recent roles have focussed on extensive Industry consultation and collaboration in the areas of Foundation Skills (language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills and Aboriginal Cultural courses across NSW.My area of expertise is in building relationships, forming cohesive teams, fostering the growth and development of individual staff to reach their potential and leading through challenging times. I have demonstrable experience and success in the following areas:• development and management of stakeholder engagement and industry consultation• management of staff and resources• budget and financial accounting skills • planning, development and implementation of multi disciplinary programs (over 10 different programs from different funding pools)• quality improvement processes including accreditation• managed staff and programs across a large regional area (New England North West Region)• reporting and data collection and collationWhilst I have worked in the private industry, most of my management roles have been for Government funded organisations and in particular TAFE NSW and Aboriginal Health. I am passionate about building capacity and changing outcomes to empower the individual, the family and the community. I am committed to raising awareness that currently 7 million adult Australians can find everyday reading and writing challenging and the huge need for accessible quality adult training products to support lifelong learning. The skills to read and write is a basic human right and skill gaps can lead to significant disadvantage and inequity.I am equally passionate and dedicated to improving and empowering the lives of Australia's First Peoples and have been dedicated to working together with our Communities, Health Providers and Government to close the gap in life expectancy and educational outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. To all the people who are connected to me professionally and personally and have worked and assisted along the way - I am sincerely grateful - any success that I have achieved, would not have been possible without your support and respect. Thank you for your time and your efforts.
