Manned the Group Mailbox in 3 classifications. Responsible for submitting Purchase and Change requests in Remedy BMC.
Responsible for planning and implementing industry infrastructure standards for existing and future cable installation for three Army Commands. Duties included identifying, labeling, adding cable management re-routing and documenting fiber from the servers in five (5) Communications Closets to the desktop, and creating an MS Access database to store that information. Other duties include troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues for existing work stations using Remedy, adding workstations to the Domain and Active Directory, and support organizational data migrations imaging PCs.
NMCC, Raven Rock Mountain Complex, MD(May 2008 – May 2010) ManTech T.I.S.C., North Carolina Operations. Supporting Infrastructure upgrades at the Alternate National Military Command Center (NMCC), installs and grounds equipment cabinets, patch panels, wire management devices and work area outlets. Builds cabling pathways and installs, terminates and tests multi-mode and single mode, multi-stranded fiber cables, as well as copper cabling for LAN and telephone applications. Very familiar with single-mode/multi-mode fiber connectors, as well as copper and coax connectors.
Responsible for the installation of infrastructure, cabling, power and grounding at secure and non-secure facilities. Installed cabling raceway and conduit for Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret and SCI local area networks. Installed multi-mode and single mode, multi-stranded fiber cables. Installed copper, CAT 6 cabling for LAN and telephone applications. Mounted equipment cabinets and installed patch panels, switches, servers and wire management devices and Work Area Outlet boxes.
