Creative Outlets is a community based theatre company that troupes performances to a variety of venues throughout Southeastern and Central Wisconsin. We perform mostly out-of-doors at environmental centers and museums.

I direct one musical production and one non-musical production for the East Troy High School Drama Department. In addition to directing, I also design the costumes, sets and choreography.

I oversee all details of special events for 50 to 500 guests including the Museum's most significant fundraiser. In 2016, this annual black-tie gala was reimagined, rebranded and renamed Odd Ball and now incorporates the Museum's increased mission to focus on S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math) education and the Maker Movement. My responsibilities for all events include managing budgets, monitoring timelines, negotiating contracts, coordinating vendors, securing space, scheduling presenters, creating activities, designing decor, selecting caterers, planning menus, working with printers and graphic designers, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, representing the Museum at all functions, and overseeing all event logistics pre-registration through the post-event follow-up,

Duties include public relations, special event creation and implementation (including festivals, city-wide events, banquets, golf outings, meetings and workshops), marketing and multi-media promotion including public speaking and media interviews, social networking, writing and distributing press releases and monthly newsletter, promotion for the chamber and for its membership, business-to-business promotion, membership development and retention, conflict resolution, fund-raising, volunteer coordination and recruitment. Responsible for overall administration of the Chamber of Commerce including budget, scheduling and general office management.

Responsible to develop and promote community education programs for children through senior citizens. Created, developed and promoted a city-wide Kite Flying Festival which brought approximately 400 people from 17 different zip codes to Whitewater. Also created a community wide arts week of classes and exhibits in local businesses, schools and city buildings.

Created PACE to offer intergenerational family programming at this Conference Center and Educational Environmental Center. Responsible for creating events from their inspiration, to promotion and marketing, to coordination, to implementation and final review. PACE Events included performing arts, special events, storytelling festivals, renaissance festivals and student residential camps and family retreats. Promotion included writing and distributing press releases, soliciting funds and sponsors, radio interviews, writing and mailing brochures. Through Senior Adult and Family Experiences program, I also assisted with Elderhostels (an International educational program for active older adults), including the state’s first Intergenerational and the state’s first Service Elderhostel. I created events for all ages and physical abilities.
