He is currently working as Sustainability Domain Lead in Growth and Transformation (G&T) arm at ER division & caters to clients across geographies. He is primarily responsible to engage with customer management including C-suite executives to understand vision, goals and existing sustainability strategy to enable them shaping their ambitions to have greater impact across ESG environment. He uses his experience in one or more sustainability areas (ESG Regulations including CSRD, CBAM, CSDDD, SEC, IRA etc., Circular Economy, Net Zero Transition, Supply Chain Sustainability, Waste Management etc) to extend customer ambitions through innovation (Collaborating TCS Pace Port & TCS Pace Sprints etc.) and also identifies the potential which can be achieved through adoption of digital technologies. Also, as part of the role he requires to synthesize the nature of customer sustainability strategy and align TCS capabilities and value offerings through coordinating with internal teams. He is strongly into thought leadership drive of the organization as well and develop POVs/Whitepapers relevant to the domain at regular intervals.Of late, Debabrata believe that the path towards net zero would primarily be technology driven, and it was not a technology company from where he started is professional journey. Prior to TCS, he worked with notable EHS Consulting firms, and was into conducting/managing EHS Audit and Due Diligences, Development & Implementation of Integrated Management System (as per ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018), ESG/Sustainability Reporting for an organization (as per GRI, SASB, TCFD requirements), ESMS Development & Implementation as per Lenders (IFC,.
