Dr. Deborah Adair is the Chief Executive Officer for Quality Matters, an international non-profit organization providing a scalable quality assurance system for online and blended learning within and across organizations. Utilized by over 1600 institutions spanning K-12, higher education and professional/corporate training across all 50 U.S states and 35+ countries, QM’s tools, training, and processes allow education and training professionals to share resources and knowledge as they work to improve digital education and meet QM’s nationally-recognized standards. Dr. Adair has more than 30 years’ experience in higher education, in teaching and administration, as well as non-profit leadership and management consulting. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and has served on advisory bodies for the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies, the National University Technology Network, the Presidents' Forum, and Credential Engine. She has authored, presented, and interviewed broadly as an expert in quality assurance for online and digital learning. Dr. Adair earned her doctoral and master degrees from University of Arizona, her bachelor's degree from Boston University, and her associate degree from Broward College.
