I am a National Project Coordinator at UNIDO, where I have been working for over seven years on promoting market transformation for energy efficiency in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) sector in India. I have a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Management and Technology from the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Productivity, and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology.With more than 20 years of technical and professional experience in the field of industrial energy and environmental management, I have developed and implemented various projects and initiatives to enhance productivity and sustainability with an integrated approach. I have also provided consultancy and training services to various organizations and agencies, including the World Bank, UNDP, GIZ, and SGS, on topics such as climate change, circular economy, environmental clearance, and system audits. I am a qualified energy auditor, GHG accounting auditor, boiler operation engineer, and ISO 50001 lead auditor, and a member of the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing. My mission is to contribute to the global efforts of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency, while supporting the growth and competitiveness of the MSME sector in India.
