She has worked with countless community organizations and partners in business, government and education. Currently at Niagara Health System, she leads a team of 1150 dedicated volunteers across five hospitals. She was involved in planning, design and opening of the new hospital and regional cancer center in St. Catharines from 2002 through 2013. Debbie lead the creation of numerous programs that contribute to quality patient care and offer meaningful challenging opportunities for volunteers. Previously, Debbie taught at Niagara College. She was awarded Instructor of the Year and the Peter F. Drucker Canadian Non-Profit Consultant of the Year. Debbie is a dynamic, energetic trainer, facilitator and speaker. Whether delivering a keynote, a conference workshop or a customized training program, she inspires, engages and educates with humor and a facilitative approach that draws on the collective wisdom of her audience. As a consultant she is committed to helping people grow and strengthening the capacity of organizations to create healthier, happier communities. Debbie enjoys graphic design and has a large portfolio including logos, posters, ads, newsletters, annual reports, training guides etc.Debbie enjoys writing... she is the author of various published articles and co-authored a published research paper.
