Interviewed oncologists, pathologists, patients, and internal users about their experiences with Foundation products and services, the cancer experience/medical journey, and proposed marketing materials to support Design, Technology, and Marketing efforts.Delivered product and service strategy recommendations to various product teams by analyzing findings, synthesizing insights, and facilitating Design Sprints and other workshops. Co-wrote a patient guide that brought into common terminology how genes affect cancer, how Foundation’s test works, and questions for providers. Tested these guides with patients and caregivers for future iteration.Conducted operational activities for the Experience Design group and defined processes around recruiting interviewees, organizing contracts and payments, standardizing knowledge management/archival activities. Coached and mentored a junior operations associate.Standardized writing guidelines by developing the voice and tone instructions for UX writing and marketing materials. Implemented and populated a knowledge management system (Aurelius) to house design research activities, slicing and tagging the knowledge to make it searchable across projects.

Elicited, gathered, documented, and tracked software and process requirements from stakeholders in an agile/scrum environment for Foundation’s Medical Reporting applications, bridging the gap between internal Medical Informatics users and the engineering team. Co-developed a system which would allow pathologists insight into the Foundation’s genomics data and provide additional context to their work. Defined requirements for the development team, created working prototypes, and traveled to give in-person software demos for potential customers and collaborators.Identified Foundation’s current-state enterprise process flow to remedy delay/waste and expressions of confusion and frustration, from customer test order through pathology review; developed and executed recommendations on how to reduce pain points and context-switching.

Wrote best practices, training documentation, and SOPs governing Regulatory technology; trained users on Regulatory systems using in-class lecture, interactive sessions, and online tools. Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and direct business support of IT systems owned by Global Regulatory Affairs.

Represented Regulatory users as a Business Analyst for the development of an in-house system that enabled the Regulatory Affairs group to track interactions with regulatory agencies, previously scattered throughout multiple locations/software. Assessed and tested technology needs for the Regulatory Affairs department, working with Medical Informatics to recommend, develop, and implement new technology initiatives.

Implemented the FDA’s Electronic Submissions Gateway (ESG), which brought Millennium into the digital submission age, reducing countless hours of work and eliminating the need for paper submissions. Supported Millennium’s regulatory aims by reviewing and submitting material to the FDA.
