I am a PhD student at the department of Energy Storage & Conversion in imec. My research is focused on the design, characterisation and application of mesoporous nanocatalysts in electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction. With a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and a master's in Nanochemistry, I have a unique background comprising aspects from both fundamental science and its practical application. I also have almost a year of experience in the industry. I have experience in varied projects including synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles, photocatalytic hydrogen generation, thin-film instability and nanopatterning, fuel cells, graphene-based catalyst synthesis, and their applications.
