Co-founded a CPG food startup with a vision to connect people to the world through innovative better-for-you food; launched Soup Explorers, a line of refrigerated, globally inspired soups; developed recipes in collaboration with local restaurateurs; established omni-channel presence across farmers markets, retail natural, convenience and grocery stores, and e-commerce; achieved selection by largest U.S. food distributor for its program targeted at CPG startups; identified and assessed contract manufacturers to transition production from commercial shared kitchen; executed pre-seed raise in 2020; negotiated term sheets and promissory notes with seed investors; pitched extensively to Angels and VCs to build awareness through 1:1 meetings, conferences and pitch slams; led all finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, bookkeeping, financial & tax reporting; structured licensing agreements with restaurateur partners.
