While at Siddhant Cinevision, I worked as an Executive Producer for the Television shows ‘Dehleez’ (on Ndtv Imagine), ‘Meet Mila De Rabba’ (on Sony) and ‘Shraddha’ (on Star Plus). Previously I have even assisted Directors Late Anjan Das and Late Kundan Shah. Ekla Cholo, Kader Kuler Bou, Swadey Alhade, Ekti Bangali Bhooter Golpo, Professional, Onnyo Boshonto. Effectively communicated with the Channel from the Production House. -

Mar 2007 - Dec 2011Executive Producer and Ideation Head for ‘Dehleez’ (on Ndtv Imagine), ‘Meet Mila De Rabba’ (on Sony) and ‘Shraddha’ (on Star Plus) handling the entire execution, ideation, casting and production for the shoot.• There lacked a proper ideation team and a bank of concepts according to the then demand for television and film media. I fruitfully created a bouquet of concepts along with the creative team and a team of directors. Some were televised as a series and a few were made into films with Mukta Arts.• We desired to have a bank of actors and artists. I implemented a talent hunt. I proactively called new talents and took auditions; I even operated the Camera myself. We created a handsome number of aspiring actors• Budgets were extremely tight. We positively conceptualised projects according to needs and brought relevant people on board, within the budget. We never compromised on the quality of the projects and as a result, I was appreciated for my efforts in achieving the target.

Although the magazine didn’t run for long for distribution issues, I used to get a feedback from the readers and questionnaires which were very interesting centering the silver screen regularly and I happily kept writing and creating more such content answering the reader’s questions.

Received words of appreciation from Amit Khanna who ran the company and from Joy Roy of Home TV.• Delays became frequent due to the lack of technology systems. I began writing the script myself, although Hindi was not a strength of mine. I improved my Hindi speaking and writing skills, executed my programmes at a faster pace independently and this boosted my confidence immeasurably.
