Ansible is a very popular automation tool that helps administrators/DevOps automate infrastructure and software provisioning and configuration management. Ansible comes built-in with a rich set of modules in its Ansible Module Index to help a user get bootstrapped quickly with their tasks. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Ansible Modules provide an easy way to create and provision resources in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure through Ansible. These modules allows user to author Ansible playbooks that help user automate the provisioning and configuring of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and resources, such as Compute, Load Balancing, Database, and other Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. The Micro-services Platform has a set of Services which are called State Services which provide a specific function in the Platform. These services are also modeled as a Microservice. The Deployer Service serves as the interface to deploy/undeploy the Micrsoservices in the Platform. Deployer service is agnostic of target platform where the service should be deployed e.g. Mesos/Marathon cluster or Kubernetes Cluster. This is done by baking the component code into a Docker image and thus abstracting out the steps to Dockerize the component. Microservices Platform Administration Server (MPAS) manages the lifecycle of instances of the platform (environment), the clusters on which such instances are provisioned and the global configuration for the platform. MPAS is tenant aware and derives the tenant identity from user credentials presented and uses tenant context in all of its operations. It resides on the control plain of the cluster and ensures that the administrator registers cluster and create environments in a smooth manner for end users.
