[EVOLVE] was started by Mr. Tarun Nanda in 2010 in India, a civil and environmental engineer from the UK.[EVOLVE] has designed and constructed wetlands in farm houses, various slums, creeks and public lakes in India. We have impacted the communities and lives of more than 1,000,000 people in the slums and residents of Delhi, Goa, and Nagpur with the projects. In all these locations not only have we been able to clean the water bodies, deal with the pollution of the area, deal with the sewage incoming but we have also been able to create habitat for fishes, ducks, geese, flying foxes, various migratory birds and flora and fauna in the region, change the behaviour of the communities towards their own environment, make the communities understand the functioning of wetlands and become aware about cleaning various types of pollution.We have ensured clean water and air, improved water quality, reduced toxicity in the water-bodies, increased ground water levels, treated and reused wastewater, improved and beautified public spaces, provided cleaner habitats for wildlife around the water-bodies, created green spaces and built sustainable infrastructure across the country.
