As Head-of-Design of one of the largest Design Teams in the technology-product world, my role is to create Design-Thought-Leaders who master the practice of working cross-function and cross-geographies to envision unique, life-changing and day-to-day consumer scenarios, emerging out of cutting-edge tech-problem spaces in the areas of Mixed Reality, Camera, Al, Voice, IOT, Multimodal Interactions and Fintech. Here in Samsung, we built one of the most vibrant design-team cultures over the past decade-and-a-half, with top-notch designers hired from premium design institutes, playing the role of long-haul leaders and IC champions.At Samsung Electronics and Samsung Research Institute - Bangalore (SRI-B), we are at helm of defining breakthrough consumer experiences with Gen Al, Vision tech, Voice tech, Smartphones and Wearables. As a company, a continuous-learning center and a research institute, we are the largest of our kind amongst all of Samsung's overseas R&D centers worldwide. While we focus on building products, services and experiences for the global consumer, we cast a keen eye on 'Make-for-India' experiences that make our tailored innovations stand out in the local market.
