I joined Home Instead in early 2017 as a Home Care Consultant and Certified Dementia Practitioner. My primary focus is educating others in the community about the many services that Home Instead Senior Care provides. I do this by partnering with agencies, organizations and communities that are also dedicated to improving the quality of life for our aging seniors. My territory encompasses Plymouth County on the South Shore.

-Working directly for the General Manager in our community with over 1,000 acres & 900+ homes.-Managing the application process to the lease agreements on all resale homes.-Working closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a smooth process for all new home sales by providing support where needed. I executed all lease agreements on new construction during the closing. My experience in sales made it easy for me to transition from operations to assist where needed. -Provided support for residents who needed assistance with anything from community policy to -Notarizing & executing lease agreements during the closing of all new construction.-Managing accounts payable & rent collections. -Overseeing the Social Department & working closely with the Social Director to support over 75 special events, programs, trips & club meetings each month.-Maintaining internal files in an orderly fashion for operations.-Managing Customer Service with the goal of providing a top notch level of service.

Elected in 2011, I served on a three person commission overseeing this multi million dollar project to its near completion. Meetings were held monthly and often weekly to ensure this groundbreaking endeavor is successful for generations to come. My biggest accomplishment was releasing the financial burden of this project from 40 select residents along the route of this project totaling 2.7 million dollars & holding businesses & the entire town accountable resulting in the average tax payer responsible for a mere $150.00. I also voted to create and maintain solar panels along route 44 to power the North Carver Water District resulting in an 80% energy savings and being one of the very first projects of it's kind in the United States. I was proud to serve my town and certainly do not rule out the possibility of future involvement.

I created and fostered the growth of over 75 clubs, groups, classes and special events that gather at the community clubhouse each month. Highlights include the community's 8 major creatively themed open houses that have become legend in our area. I budgeted my own department with much success as the community grew from 200 homes to over 900. I am proud to say, to date, the Oak Point Social Departent is considered first of its kind in the region and beyond and has yet to be duplicated. Many communities in the area have chosen this model as a blueprint to create their own Social Department. Another major role was working in our sales office showing homes, creating listings, developing and maintaining an organized filing system and working side by side with our marketing team. Several of the marketing tools we created are still used today.
