I was in the mortgage business for 30+ years. Started out as a receptionist, moved up to closer, then processor. After being laid off, transferred to corporate office in mortgage insuring, and finally to customer service. After that, I worked for Freddie Mac for 9 years as a closer in the REO (Real Estate Owned), department. From there I went to work for Countrywide Home Loans as an asset manager, managing foreclosed properties in various states. When they were bought by Bank of America I was let go. Seemed like a good time to retire, but now I need to supplement my social security. I need to work from home with gas prices being what they are!!
