• Coordinate and implement annual leadership forum that provides professional development in areas of corporate, k-12 education, higher education, and government/community – some keynote speakers include Stephen Covey, Jim Kouzes, John C. • Coordinated a state-wide two-day event held in the state legislative and Capital buildings• Worked with state officials, state staff, and local agencies, at all levels, to implement North Carolina’s Conversation on Youth Development Forum• Sole leader in creating and producing materials to assist 4-H Agents and State staff in facilitating local and state level focus group discussions• Headed the state-wide committee to collaboratively organize state event• Trained focus group facilitators in leading group discussions for the state level event• Directed efforts with state officials, state staff, and the media to coordinate and implement a day for youth to meet with legislators and state officials to present the final National Report during the 2002 house and senate sessions• Managed a $68,000 budget for North Carolina’s coordination of local, state, and national events
