With over 17 years of experience in compensation, I am a director and leader who delivers effective and proven solutions for the School Board of Broward County (SBBC), the sixth-largest public school district in the nation. As the Director of the Compensation department, I oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of base pay and incentive program and variable pay programs, administering the annual salary increase program, oversight on the job descriptions pay level setting process, providing oversight for the job evaluation and pay setting process, as well as the HR metric analysis and reporting for over 26,000 employees.My mission is to ensure fair, equitable, and competitive compensation practices that attract, retain, and motivate high-performing talent. I also leverage my MBA in Tax and my background in manufacturing process improvement to streamline and optimize payroll and account reconciliation processes, enhance compliance and accuracy, and reduce costs and errors.
