Report on monthly and YTD variances to Area Managers as well as the Corporate variance. Provide analysis on job costs when necessary, rate per CMH and cost per New Service Account. Attend monthly variance meeting with Area Managers to review areas of improvement as well as areas to reduce O&M spending. During this time I supported the Boca Raton, West Palm and Treasure Coast Area’s. During my last year I also supported the North Broward and Central Broward Area’s as well

Started the Distribution Systems Help Desk. Resolved system problems related to Work management, payroll, trouble call, engineering estimates, customer accounts and outdoor light systems between 1/91 through 7/93. Starting in 7/93 through 1/95, I assumed the duties as the Work Management System support analyst. Troubleshooting system problems with work management system, developing test plansand worked with programmer testing and implementing system enhancements. Developed training manual for service planning SPOT class on the work management system and did the week long training class. 1/95 - Joined the system development team for the replacement of the work management system from the mainframe to the distributed environment. Assumed the roll of project lead and business analyst.

In 1990 the task of creating budgets was pushed out to the Districts. My position was created to perform this task. I worked with the District Construction Manager and the Division Budgeting group to develop the Capital budget for the West Palm District which consisted of 5 service centers. During this time I worked with the service center superintendents on variance reports and analysis of job costs, as well as assisting the field with system and accounting questions.

In 7/81 - Clerical support to the Eastern Division Review Center Manger.During these 9 years I worked my way up to Review Center Technician.Phase 1 - Clerical support such as filing, answering phones and backing up the secretary.Phase 2 - Reviewing and estimating the service and meters blankets for all service centers in the Eastern Division.Phase 3 – Promoted to reviewing all types of Distribution work orders. Re-estimating jobs for field changes based on as-built prints and checking accounting practices. Also field checking contracted work orders with the FPL contract inspector and the contractor representative. To prepare for this task, I attended a 2 week Distribution construction school. In 1987 the DPA Systems Manager took over the responsibility of the Review Center and I was also given an opportunity to back up the Eastern Division Systems Analysts. I did this as well as my regular duties from 1987 to 1990.
