At Purple Summer Creative I offer a wide range of services. As well as being a skilled proofreader, editor and writer, I also have a full range of quality assurance checking services, which is pretty unique and something that most people don't think about – but should!I'm highly experienced and have worked on all materials such as brochures, magazines, newsletters, annual reports, leaflets, websites and CVs. I’ve also enjoyed working on fiction books – proofreading and editing as well as collaborating on story development.

At CDS I had a dual role. I was responsible for the quality of work undertaken by the design and editorial team for many high-profile clients. I also undertook much of the design work myself, specialising in magazine design.

Working in a smaller company meant that I did a little bit of everything – design and typesetting, proofreading and QA, client liaison, organising print, and even software training for external clients.

As Senior Typesetter I designed for a variety of clients in the sports sector. I also supervised the work of other mac operators and quality controlled all projects leaving the studio.

I was responsible for producing their technical magazine using the Rank Xerox Documenter. I collated all the information, decided what was to go into each issue and designed the layout.

My role was to operate the Scantext 1000 and 2000 Composer systems.

I worked as a Scantext 1000 system typesetter.
