As the discipline lead at The Shrink Academy, I oversee and support the behavioral interventions and programs for students with neurodiversity and learning difficulties. I have a graduate diploma in psychology and a diploma in counseling, which enable me to apply evidence-based and holistic approaches to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. I also work as a behavior support practitioner at Shrink and Co, where I provide individual sessions for children, young adults and their support networks with various developmental challenges.I have more than five years of experience in learning support at Josiah College, a specialist school for neurodiverse students, where I assisted teachers and students with curriculum adaptation, behavior management, and social skills development. I also have a background in nursing, having worked for ten years in emergency and intensive care units. This has given me valuable skills in communication, empathy, and resilience, which I use in my current roles. My passion is to see people live authentically and confidently, and I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development in the fields of psychology and counseling.
