The main function of a Breast Cancer Patient Navigator is to reduce or remove any barriers prevented the patient form receiving the annual or initial Well-Women services. Reducing the fears, misconceptions, and empowering them with information to make an informed decision regarding their health. Provide one-on-one consultation with the patient enabling me to become familar with the patient, and know and understand their barriers. Navigate the patient to the appropriate services. Services range from education, financial assistance, emotion support, mammogram and any related procedures. Work closely with the Medical Providers, OB-GYN, patient, and radiology to help reduction the timeline between patient services

Treatment Navigator assists women diagnosed with breast cancer travel through the healthcare system. A key function of a Treatment Navigator is to reduce the timeline throughout the continuum of care. The liaison keeping all of the patients providers informed of patient treatment status. Treatment Navigators function in different capacities to facilitate the needs of a patient. Provide educational material, explain recommended treatment, schedule and attend doctor appointments.
