As Manager of Africa Programs developed and monitored programs across Africa that assisted people in improving their health; increased access to and improved the quality of medical services, and strengthened the church as it holistically serves its communities. Activities included:•Developing annual work plans and budgets to accomplish MTI mission and vision within the region;•Establishing, supporting and strengthening MTI country programs and administration; •Developing strategic partnerships, networks and engaging international volunteers; •Facilitating organizational capacity assessments, action planning and tools; •Designing and monitoring programs for quality and impact; •Developing and overseeing country and project budgets; •Generating program funding through US Government and foundation grant proposal writing/reporting;•Representing and serving as an HQ point of contact for Africa Regional Programs; •Participating in task forces and specific work groups to enhance MTI programs; •Providing oversight of the MTI Liberia program and direct management of the Liberia Country Director.

I worked in tandem with the Regional Director to achieve the strategic plan of Medical Teams International; developed and implemented Africa regional plans; established, supported and strengthened country programs; developed new strategic partnerships and networks; monitored programs for quality and impact; prepared and managed large budgets; expanded and pursued funding opportunities; wrote US Goverment and foundation grant proposals; represented and served as HQ point of contact for Africa Regional Programs.
