Managed the implementation of JV partnerships and other commercial deals, including generating revenue, marketing and publicity for Bloomberg content. The Commercial team grew distribution from 27m households for the English Language channel to well over 250m households across EMEA. Negotiated with all regulatory, rights and licensing bodies across EMEA where Bloomberg had liability.Handled budget (in excess of $6m), invoicing and contract management across the team, included liaising with Bloomberg consultants and distributors. Hotel distribution for BTV grew from 33,000 hotel rooms across EMEA to 250,000; directly responsible for group partnership deals with major hotel brands including Starwood, Hilton, Marriot, Steigenberger. Responsible for the BTV hotel marketing initiative during the World Economic Forum at Davos. Ensured Bloomberg TV was being screened in the lobby of all Davos hotels during the conference. Represented Bloomberg at all trade events including MIPTV, MIPCOM, NewsXchange, CTAM, Cable Congress etc.

Accomplished Europe-wide positive coverage for launch of the Al Jazeera English Channel -the only International 24 hour news channel to launch on PR alone. Managed international agendas, budgets and stakeholders in different territories; working with PR teams in Doha, UK and New York. Achieved over 300 positive items of coverage over launch. Supported commercial objectives of the channel and efforts of distribution team to gain worldwide carriage. Launch aim of reaching 40 million cable & satellite households on day one was exceeded, achieved 80 million. Drafted in-house post launch. Responsible for the media engagement strategy of the channel's talent, such as the late Sir David Frost and Rageh Omaar, and rolling out/promoting their programme strands.
