She immediately loved the area (tied only to Seattle for best places to live) and settled in with the homeschooling community where her girls thrived. Community involvement is important to her—whether volunteering (and subsequently adopting, of course!) with Orange County Animal Services, coaching Special Olympics Orange County (where she met her husband Johnny) or working with students at Boomerang to achieve their college dreams. Through these activities and more, Debbie is always on the lookout to make the Triangle an even better place to live!Debbie is also responsible for keeping the team moving forward—and you can see her on the team's Facebook page live during open houses throughout Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Pittsboro and the greater Triangle area. Katie and Steve say her creativity shows in all she does with real estate and her ability to weigh cost versus benefit when helping sellers and the team prepare a listing with staging is remarkable. She also is team’s social media guru and regularly posts news and happenings.
