CDC Publishing was acquired by ConstructConnect and I retained my position with the new company. Responsibilities included Employee Relations, Engagement and HR Generalist duties for Vero Beach and Orlando, FL and Cary, NC offices.

Was responsible for employee relations, unemployment, workers comp, management training and conflict resolution for large media company with offices located in seven states and total employee count of 300+.

International executive level recruiting . Background screening and investigations.HR projects including employee handbooks, benefits package design.

Directed all Human Resources functions in the US and Canada for an international company involved in reducing Greenhouse Gas/Carbon Emissions with operations in Brazil, Mexico, Canada and Ireland.

Responsible for all HR functions for 400+ employees. Types of companies owned were two country clubs, construction, property management, real estate development, skilled nursing facility and assisted living facility.

HR Generalist duties which included supervising HR Coordinator and trained HR Assistants. Responsible for termination of 250+ employees and benefits when company was sold and reinstatement on new company payroll and benefits. Conducted recruitment, employee counseling, salary administration, new employee orientation, explained and assisted in development of policies and benefits; employee complaint investigations; worker’s compensation, etc.
