As the sole assistant to the firm's vice president, I typed proposals, answered phones, created software, and was the first employee to greet customers. I stepped in as financial assistant to make deposits and record debits and credits, as needed.

I managed the contact lens department -- ordering/maintaining stock and client orders, taught clients care and insertion and removal of contacts. I also worked in the onsite lens lab, answered phones, operated the vision skills with clients, assisted clients with frame choice, and handled finances, as needed. Once a month, I accompanied an optometrist to the office in Lamesa to assist clients there.
