I have been at WKCC for 14 years, I began as an officer and promoted through to my current position as a UA II.

Currently I am spending my time at Western as a Recreational Team Leader, my responsibilities include planning events, keeping records, and maintaining the safety and security of the recreational area. Prior to this promotion, I was a Correctional Sergeant here at WKCC my responsibilities included report writing, investigations, supervising and evaluating officers. During my time as a Sergeant, I was also special detailed into the role as the Institutional Training Coordinator where I taught annual common core training to all employees, planned and conducted firearms re-qualification, and maintained all records required for ACA standards. I have been on the DOC Crisis Negotiation Team since 2011 and joined the state training team as the communication coordinator in 2017. Some of my responsibilities include maintaining the state roster for all institutions, and being an instructor for the DOC CNT Basic academy and De-escalation classes.
