I was Vice Chancellor, Chancellor Elect and Chancellor of the 11,000 member Philadelphia Bar Association, founded in 1802, is the oldest association of lawyers in the United States. During my time as Chancellor, I focused on many hot topic issues such as immigration, Medicaid, access to justice, judicial independence, and hate crimes. I was a cofounder of Take Action Philadelphia (TAP) which engaged the Philadelphia Legal Community with the community at large to hold convenings which address issues and find solutions. I was President of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation during 2013, and 2014, including during the Foundation's 50th Anniversary celebration. I have been a trustee of the Foundation for over ten years. I have also served on a number of other boards such as Women's Philanthropy, Philadelphia VIP, Public Interest Law Center, Jenkins Law Library, and Temple Adath Israel.
