In 2019, the Agency broke ground on improvements to the Salinas Rail Station to support bring new state-supported rail service to Monterey County. In 2018, the Agency funded and conducted public education for the City of Monterey’s innovative roundabout at Highway 68 at Pebble Beach. Oversaw a corridor of US 101 highway projects from the Red Barn to Airport Boulevard to reduce injuries and fatalities in the corridor formerly known as “blood alley”.
