➤ Serving as the Subject Matter Expert for the Service Coordinator Liability and the Manager/Service Coordinator Relationship courses and teaching both as part of the certificate program for students seeking to expand knowledge and add in-demand skills.➤ Participating in a Training Class Advisory group, which was made up of professional serving older adults living in low income housing, as well as contributing to the creation of the Senior Housing Leadership Development course, a certificate program offered to these leaders.➤ Collaborating in the development of the Department of Housing and Community Affairs and Montgomery College training program, "Understanding Aging, a Certificate Training Program".➤ Developing, coordinating, expanding, and managing workforce development and continuing education course offerings that support and contribute to the college's strategic goals and mission.➤ Supporting the values of diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity, and service to the College, while complying with departmental and institutional policies and procedures.➤ Accepting and teaching classes based on varied schedules to accommodate diverse student needs and external stakeholders' expectations of the College, as well as demonstrating respect for the myriad of diversities represented in the student population and colleagues.➤ Preparing course presentations and instructional materials, working with colleagues to select appropriate textbooks for departmental adoptions, and compiling bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments.

➤ Directing the daily operations of the 13th largest Continuing Care Retirement Community, with 1,400 residents and 800 Associates, and managing the implementation of the strategic plan, including handling an multi-million dollar budget within a 90% operating ratio.➤ Supporting, on-boarding, selection, and hiring for the campus including drafting and updating job descriptions and conducting interviews, as well fostering a working environment that enables learning and growing. ➤ Providing supervision to the Marketing, Pastoral Care, Social Work, Assisted Living Administrator, Skilled Nursing Administrator, and Residential Living Administrator.➤ Overseeing multiple projects, including Information Technology initiatives, building renovations, and major program development. ➤ Working collaboratively with resident-led advisory groups and providing a bridge between residents and leadership.➤ Directing the resident concern process and ensures appropriate resolution, while developing and leading associate and resident Town Hall meetings, which provide opportunities for programmatic and strategic updates.➤ Developing strategy and providing support around the budgeting for future programming, staffing, training, space, infrastructure, and system needs that will help the organization more effectively carry out its mission.

➤ Managed a 285-bed skilled nursing facility, playing a key role in moving the facility from 3 stars to 5, as well as achieving an increase in Associate and resident satisfaction rates through the Holleran and Maryland Family Satisfaction surveys.➤ Took on the additional role of Administrator in Training Preceptor, supporting the Assistant Administrator in obtaining his Maryland license, while also training new employees so that they understood protocols and regulations.➤ Evaluated and implemented the revenue, operating, and capital budgets, while training each department head to ensure they adhered to the budget and to ensure conformance with the standards of quality care, utilizing Planetree training.➤ Became a Leading Age Leadership Academy Fellow, which resulted in a quick cast on the power of language and a white paper on the impact of ageism and ableism.
