Key Responsibilities: - Manage monthly MSR value changes and amortization levels, including the valuation of new deliveries and asset sales / calls, for recordation to the general ledger - Create, validate, and distribute MSR data tapes provided to third party valuation firms - Perform key SOX controls to verify the reasonableness of third party MSR valuation results - Responsible for ad-hoc tape creation and valuation of potential sales and calls - Identify trends in data and communicate results, review existing procedures to identify efficiencies and provide technical support as neededKey Achievements - Developed expertise with various MSR and securities valuation models, integrated behavioral models, and related analytic and reporting platforms - Maintained and updated the code for our internally developed MSR data tranching tool, in both the MS Access / SQL Server and SAS environments - Supported the GMAC monthly internal MSR valuation process using MIAC WinOAS and - Key player in migrating MSR and securities valuation processes from an acquired subsidiary into existing platforms, significantly reducing license and software expenses - Developed and performed training to Capital Markets Trade Desk personnel in a newly acquired subsidiary for the MIAC WinOAS valuation tool - Contributed to major initiatives including new MSR valuation software development and implementation, and new model version testing

o Responsible for creation of the Servicing Portfolio database- Improved many aspects of this data creation process. Tasks that were previously very cumbersome and error-prone excel files are now databases driven. This has reduced possibility of errors and reduced time from days to hours.- Responsible for the month-end and quarter-end reporting done on that servicing portfolio, including SEC reporting (10K/10Q) and Controls - Provided support related to the emergence from bankruptcy in 2018.o Attend the valuation committee meetings to take minutes and perform Controls on the data presentedo Responsible for state licensing requests that involve the servicing portfolioo Provide technical and data support for the team’s accounting functions.
