I love what I do and I love working with others who love what they do. I enjoy the hours of research in a quiet library, concepting + brainstorming in a coffee shop, doodling away logo concepts, having a great laugh, being distracted by a hilarious YouTube video and talking out loud to my 2 large dogs on a daily basis.I have been working in the field of advertising + design for over 30 years. I consider myself lucky to have worked with so many talented people over the years on so many different projects. I’ve worked with a very diverse group of clients over the years - from banks, healthcare, tires and paint, to catholic schools, non-profits, dog food companies and manufacturing companies. I have worked on logos, annual reports, outdoor advertising, collateral materials, print ads and posters. I've designed highway billboards and wrapped a Mini Cooper. I consider every project an opportunity to learn something new while applying my design skills to bring that project to life. Specialties: Graphic Design, Art Direction, Typography, Color and Design_________________________________________________________________________________________When not designing, I spend time traveling the US speaking out against the crime of domestic violence and stalking. I share my personal story of the loss of my youngest sister Peggy, who lost her life at the hands of her abuser.

Community Activist + Guest SpeakerStalking Must Stop Jul 2003 - Apr 2024Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina AreaI work with high schools and universities across the US presenting my sister's stalking case. While presenting, I utilize a basic Stalking 101 slide presentation, sharing data, statistics, demographics and the social normalization of the crime of stalking. I delve into my sister's case, highlighting the steps Peggy took to keep herself safe along with the hurdles and faults in our justice systems, a stalking case that lasted a full year. I highlight our trip to Washington DC where we declared January, the month Peggy was killed, National Stalking Awareness Month and share the law enforcement training video, "STALKING: Real Fear, Real Crime."

Graphic Designer And Event PlannerDomestic Violence And Child Advocacy Center Nov 2004 - Jan 2009Cleveland, OhioI have partnered with Cleveland Domestic Violence and Advocacy Center through the development of an annual fundraiser, “ARTiculation: unheard voices speak,” that was held for 5 consecutive years in January to raise awareness of the crime of stalking during National Stalking Awareness month. The event is a grass-roots benefit organized and implemented with the help of friends, family, and other associates. To-date, we’ve raised more than $25,000. With these funds, we were able to develop and host the first Anti-Stalking Conference titled “Invisible Threat” in Cleveland in May 2007. The conference was attended by more than 250 members who represented law enforcement, the criminal justice system and victim advocates. In the coming years, funding will be used to provide a support group for women who are victims of stalking in the Cleveland area. In addition, I created and designed all communication material for the event.
