My position in the Summit County Adult Probation Department is the Probation Secretary Supervisor. I currently supervise eight secretaries and am the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Offender Services and the Assistant Chief Probation Officer. My duties include the same tasks as the Adult Probation Secretaries as well as maintaining the office building, equipment, supplies, scheduling offenders for Saturday reporting, dispersing offender rewards, inputting the monthly Vehicle Mileage Logs onto the County Auditor's database, and coordinating the keys, telephones, computers and offices for new employees and employees leaving the department.

Secretary to five salesman at the Witco Sales Office. My duties included typing, filing, answering the telephone, and completing dictation of sales meetings. I processed orders for the salesman, which required me to receive calls from the customers and attend business meetings.

My role in the Communications Department of the Babcock and Wilcox Company was the Answering Service. In this position, I was required me to take messages for the employees within the company as well as typing and filing of documents. I was later promoted to become a telephone operator. After graduating high school, I was offered a full time position in the Standards Department. In this position, I was the secretary to the manager of the department. My duties included, typing, filing, answering the telephone, ordering supplies, and coordinating vacations and leave schedules.
