• Coordinate month-end close checklist for fifteen member accounting team in two states. Follow up on task completion status and assist where needed to meet close timing deadlines.• Analyze Balance Sheet accounts in detail. Prepare and post adjusting, closing, correctional, and month-end journal entries.• Prepare detailed Balance Sheet summary for use by senior management and external auditors. Answer questions about accounting transactions.• Conduct detailed quarterly analysis of depreciation budget vs. actual variances.• Coordinate intercompany accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash applications for transactions with seventeen related companies in five countries.• Monthly bank account reconciliation for five accounts.• Ensure proper coding and entry of expense reports and company credit cards for 200+ employees. Work closely with Accounts Payable and other functions.• Identify and accrue prepaid items.
