My journey to this particular point and time has been a long windy path. My first degree was a degree in Technology Education, I wanted to be a Graphic Arts teacher. Little did I know; 25 years, 3 children, and 5 moves later I ended up in an area and school district without a Graphic Arts program; and no interest in creating one. As my season in life continued, I was ready to re-enter the classroom. So I evaluated my options. I went back to school and earned a Masters in SPED and the jobs did not materialize, so I continued on earning a Language Arts Endorsement, and this year landed myself in a freshman Language Arts class. I am out of my comfort zone and at times love being challenged and other times find it very uncomfortable. I had no intentions of doing any more schooling, I needed a break. Blending technology in Language Arts was a natural fit for me. I love learning and experimenting new ways to harmonize technology into my curriculum.
