Key Responsibilities:  Associate development through mentoring, pairing, team collaboration and challenging work assignments and performance review  Guide software engineer and product teams on prioritization, analysis and execution of day to day tasks and activities related to product development, quality and process automation Mentor teams through IT modernization through advocacy and adoption of Extreme Programming and lean practices Promote research and creation of approaches and solutions to advance software quality practices and address technical challenges Actively recruit and retain associates with value-add technical skills, high potential and high engagement Provide and participate in learning opportunities to enhance technical programming and design skillsAccomplishments:  Successfully managed a team of 36 onshore associates and contractors and 11 offshore contractors embedded across software 19 software experiences Increased associate headcount through successful partnership with Talent Acquisition and vendor relationships Led team transition of Quality Software Engineers to use core programming technologies, Java and Python, to build test frameworks and write test and application code Successfully lead and directed activities across 19 software engineer teams to attain greater than 80% test automation Drove down costs of licensed technologies and physical servers by reducing license and server dependencies and adopting open sourced and custom solutions Actively work with Software Engineering leaders in monthly reviews of organizational goals and metrics to identify gaps and provide feedback for continuous improvement Pro-actively worked with the Software Quality Product team to build out a Quality Dashboard of measures and metrics and promote adoption by Software Engineering and Product managers to establish goals and monitor progress
