I am the finance lead to a large portfolio of clients. This has meant I am specifically responsible for; preparing/finalizing official quarterly/yearly forecasts, running the finance team, working closely with key executives and communicating risks to financials, results analysis, explanations of increase/decrease to forecast.This current assignment has given me the opportunity to become responsible for the client financials I am supporting. I have also built my relationship/track record with the company executives, I have done this by ensuring I am across all the financials and providing them with appropriate business advice and calling out financial risks as early as possible.I am heavily involved in the financial strategy making decisions and provide analysis/advice around where the growth of the business is/will come from.I am hands on to the needs to the business by providing the executives with the tools and reporting requirements to meet their needs.

Accenture Australia– Client Financial Management: > Work with client and engagement executives to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and perform various financial, work, and contract management functions, including defining financial management processes and reporting; trend and variance analysis; and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and engagement metrics.> Work closely with the engagement partner and Client Team to help maximize engagement profitability while complying with U.S. GAAP and adhering to quality standards and Accenture internal policies.> Ensure engagement-level U.S. GAAP and local statutory compliance, ensuring Internal Control compliance.> Ensure correct Revenue Recognition Method, timing and amount, under US GAAP and Accenture’s policies.> Provide partner support in opportunity development by reviewing complex calculations.> Provide high-level support for all financial and contractual discussions with client.> Provide advice and guideline to offshore CFM team in technical requirements.> Execute working capital management by ensuring client agreement to bill, and establishing and implementing appropriate debt follow-up.> Monitor engagement financial status and costs, perform financial forecasting and analysis, and produce financial reports.> Manage engagement financial records, by understanding, explaining, and resolving major discrepancies that occur on the ledgers.> Work closely with client and engagement partners and suporting then in business decisions. > Currently managing the financials, end-to-end of a large client. I worked in the accounts department AECOM (formerly, EarthTech Ireland, Dublin), during my time at the company I completed my degree by night and my duties were as follows: Accounts Payable – responsible for the preparation of creditor statement reconciliations and payments of invoices on a weekly basis. Account Receivable – responsible for the allocation of receipts and following up on amounts outstanding. Other month end ad hoc duties including allocation of contract time to relevant contracts and analysis.
