I currently comanage a team of 40 medical transcriptionists and QA staff. This position holds me responsible for coordinating transcriptionist schedules, monitoring workflow, monitoring quality assurance for all reports including front-end transcription reports, assisting radiologists with report-related issues, addendums, developing a formal QA program for the transcription pool. I am also an integral part of the training teams that are deployed to assist radiologists and transcriptionists with new dictation/transcription software. I have also been on many program testing teams prior to the new program roll-outs. I am also responsible for employee coordination and providing feedback and evaluations to both my team and the Human Resources Department at MedQuest on both a quarterly and yearly schedule. I am held accountable for creative problem-solving and supplying a timely product for the patients and referring community.

At this position, I was responsible for efficient, accurate and timely transcription of medical reports for more than 20 physicians. I began this position as a part-time employee and transitioned to full-time employment.

In this position I was responsible for processing the admission and release of all inmates. I was also responsible for accounts payable/receivable, auditing and disbursement of payroll for all employees of the Gwinett County Police & Sheriff's Department.

I was the owner/operator of a personal business specializing in food service. Responsible for employee hiring and retention, bookkeeping, inventory control, business marketing, customer retention and satisfaction. Also responsible for maintaining continuing education in public health and safety as mandated by state law.

In this position I was responsible for all aspects of front-end personnel including scheduling, inventory control, bookkeeping, payroll, employee on-boarding/training/retention, accounts payable and receivable.
