• Regional centralized sourcing, procuring and contracting for the daily operations of the three hotels (2,400 total available rooms) and a central services facility. • Procurement of goods and services for very diverse outlets and areas, including food, beverage, controllable items, china, glass, linen, uniforms, printed materials, graphic arts and other promotional items, OS&E, FF&E and capital expenditures, in a cost effective and timely manner. Negotiating and establishing meaningful and reliable lead times from suppliers• Lead, manage and develop team of strategic purchasing agents, coordinators, shipping, receiving, warehouse and storerooms distributions managers that support the region’s properties. Consistently achieved one of the highest Employee Opinion Survey scores in the company.• Successful set up of procurement systems to include Epicor, Adaco, Adaco.Net, Eatec and Food Trac.• Capital project management including defining scope, planning and coordinating all OSE and FFE elements of both new construction of these hotels and subsequently the hard and soft good renovations in accordance with life cycle requirements. Responsible for keeping accurate budgets, recording transactions and tracking results, as well as working closely with construction teams to ensure that project timeliness is met in a cost effective manner.• Responsible for management reporting and communications. Ensure that properties are up to speed with implementation and continual usage of products, projects and services.• Proactively identify trends, identify problems and make recommendations. Address and resolve all issues that develop with properties, vendors, quality and pricing to ensure consistent quality product is delivered in a timely fashion.
