Lead and oversee the pre-planning, and execution of all operational functions related to the Christ the King Southside Carnival - the largest fundraising event produced for the school and parish community. Functions of the chairman role include but not limited to: - Coordination of sub-chairs of several committees:Security & Safety, Sponsorship, Food & Beverage, Sunday Bingo & Raffle, Entertainment, Marketing, Ticket Presales, Finance / Cash Control, Volunteer Programming - Responsible for coordination between CKS Parish and assignment carnival show operators - Oversaw sub-chair of Volunteers to ensure proper training in a variety of roles within the carnival.Successfully saw growth chair over chair time of expansion of carnival in terms of size and increased revenue growth each chairman period through: - introduction of multi-day, all day wristbands packages for parishioners and students - Created single day driven event wristbands with timed access for unlimited rides - strategic food and beverage adjustments in pricing for better pricing ratios - implementation of controls on food ticketing processes to improve accountability and prevent fraud purchases through the use the PVC punch cards - Chair Year 1 - expansion of ride offerings by 50% to two sides of the property - Chair Year 2 - relocation of ‘big top’ from field environment to newly built pavilion within the school - Chair Year 3 - expansion of ride offerings by additional 25% of previous growth into front parking lots of the Church property - Implementation of student driven art contest to ‘color’ the posters displayed throughout the city for the Southside carnival
